I happened upon your blog by accident and could not help but notice the incorrect description using the word "technician" the programs you list are accredited and produce fully credentialed technologists. Technician is a limited scope person functioning in a limited capacity based on very limited training.

I completely agree. We do not hire technicians at the hospital I work at in Houston, Texas. In fact, I won't even consider an applicant that refers to themself as a "technician" on their resume.
You are both correct. However, for better or worse, many people who are not in the field yet and first learning about it are more familiar with the incorrect term 'technician' rather than technologist. The URL was also chosen based on URL availability.
That being said, I will consider changing the actual on-page title of the site to improve clarity. Thank you for your feedback.
